BC Restart: Communicable Disease Prevention
To all our valued patients and community of Tonume Integrated Health:
All of us at Tonume Integrated Health are thrilled about the recent announcement
made March 10th 2022, by BC’s Provincial Health Office. Through collective effort,
we’ve gotten this far and it feels SO GOOD!
As a team, we have decided to continue to err on the side of safety and caution as
we continue to navigate the pandemic.
We will be making changes to our clinic policies that are rooted in science, and put
the health and safety needs of our patients, practitioners and staff at the forefront
of Tonume’s Communicable Disease Prevention Guidelines.
As of March 10th 2022, here are our updated Communicable Disease
Prevention Guidelines:
1. All patients, clinicians and staff are to continue to wear masks while in the clinic
at all times. All medical and cloth masks are accepted
2. All patients, clinicians and staff are to continue to sanitise their hands upon entry.
Hand Sanitiser and Sanitising Stations are located throughout the clinic.
3. All clinicians and staff are to continue with enhanced sanitisation protocols
throughout the clinic.
4. Social Distancing Measures continue to be in effect. Please try to maintain a
distance of 2 metres (6 feet) between yourself and others in the clinic.
We’re asking patients to continue to arrive at their scheduled treatment time. Arriving too early creates an overflow in our waiting area, and you may be asked to wait outside to allow for us to maintain social distancing measures.
There is so much to be grateful for. At the top of our list are our patients. We thank you for your patience and willingness to ride with us as we continue to navigate through these challenging times. Most importantly, we thank you for allowing us to be a part of your healthcare journey.
Sincerely,
Britta Calabrigo & Jody Tennant
