Tonume Policies

At Tonume Integrated Health, our goal is to provide you with exceptional care and attention. We strive to accommodate your scheduling preferences and recognize that unexpected situations can arise. To respect both our practitioners and the patients on our waiting list who require treatment, we kindly request that you provide at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. In our commitment to delivering a superior experience for all patients and honoring our practitioners' time, we have implemented the following policies:

Important Policies To Note Beforehand

  • Arrival To The Clinic

We recommend that you arrive for your appointment 10 - 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time in order to ensure a complete session. This allows you the time to fill out any appropriate forms, change clothing if necessary, and prepare for your treatment. It will also help you slow down, have some water or tea and catch your breath from your busy day!
  • Late Arrival

Late arrivals can significantly disrupt our schedules. To be courteous to all our patients, if you arrive late, your session will either conclude at the originally scheduled time or you may need to reschedule. Please note that you will still be responsible for the full session fee. Practitioners may accommodate time changes at their discretion.
  • Late Cancellation

You may cancel or reschedule your appointment without charge up to 48 hours in advance. Cancellations or rescheduling made with less than 48 hours' notice, or via voicemail/email after the close of business the day before your appointment, will incur a fee of at least $50.00 per late cancellation.
Please note: This fee may vary based on the practitioner's discretion and the specifics of the cancellation. Charges can range from 50% to 100% of the session fee for late cancellations or no-shows. As independent contractors, practitioners may enforce their own policies, potentially resulting in charges up to 100% of the session fee. If you cancel more than three times without 48 hours' notice, advanced payment will be required.
Please be aware that if you have extended health benefits and miss your appointment, we cannot bill your healthcare provider for the missed service. You will be responsible for any no-show or late cancellation fees incurred.

  • No-Show Policy

We understand that life can sometimes become unpredictable, and unforeseen circumstances may arise. However, to respect our practitioners' time, we have implemented a no-show fee policy. If a patient does not attend a scheduled appointment and fails to provide advance notice, a no-show fee of a minimum of $50.00 will be charged.
Please Note: This fee may vary at the practitioner's discretion, depending on the time elapsed between the cancellation notice and the appointment, as well as the type and duration of the session. Fees can range from 50% to 100% of the session fee for late cancellations or no-shows. If a patient has more than three no-show appointments, full advance payment may be required, and the patient may be asked to seek treatment elsewhere.
As a courtesy, we provide email and text reminders, which should be seen as a helpful addition to your schedule. They should not be relied upon as the sole method of tracking your appointments.
If you have extended health benefits and miss your appointment, we cannot bill your healthcare provider for services not rendered. You will be responsible for any no-show or late cancellation fees.
  • Zero Tolerance Policy

At Tonume Integrated Health, we prioritize a safe and respectful environment for our patients and staff. Any verbal or physical behavior that threatens or devalues others is strictly prohibited. We will take immediate action to ensure everyone's well-being, which may include removal from the premises, dismissal, or contacting law enforcement in severe cases.

  • Scent Policy

So many of us have allergies to synthetic scents and perfumes. To respect and accommodate the different needs of our patients, Tonume Integrated Health aspires to be a synthetic scent-free zone. We try to use only 100% natural essential oil products. Most essential oils are hypoallergenic and do not have the negative effects that synthetic scents do. For this, we would like to ask that you do not wear perfume or cologne on the days when you are scheduled for treatments with us.
  • Cell Phone Policy

Many of our treatments revolve around trying to calm the nervous system. And with many questions surrounding the use of cell phones and their effects upon the body we ask that you please refrain from using your cell phone while at Tonume Integrated Health. If you have a hard time putting your phone down, we ask that you talk quietly and please put your ringer on silent mode. Putting your phone down will help to maintain a relaxing and calm environment for all of our patients.
