Shockwave Therapy Treatments

Great big relief from little tiny waves
Shockwave Therapy works by using tiny but high-energy acoustic waves to stimulate the body’s natural healing processes. The waves penetrate deep below the skin, which is believed to increase blood flow to the affected area, promoting both the formation of new blood vessels and the release of growth factors and other substances that help repair damaged tissues. These healing impacts offer effective relief from symptoms of both injuries and chronic conditions, and they also accelerate general recovery from strenuous workouts.
The therapy is non-invasive and largely painless, and a treatment session usually lasts 15-30 minutes. Most patients require multiple sessions, spread over several weeks, to achieve optimal results, and while some patients experience discomfort during treatment, this is typically mild and short-lived. Nonetheless, as with other medical procedures, this course of treatment is not for everyone; see Contraindications and Precautions below.
Shockwave Therapy often provides relief in cases where other treatments — medication, physiotherapy, etc. — have failed.
