Shonishin Therapy is an even gentler version of Japanese Acupuncture developed specifically for babies and children (although it’s also very popular with seniors). The procedure is safe and painless, and nothing penetrates the skin. Instead, your Shonishin Practitioner uses specialised tools to gently stimulate the body’s self-healing responses.
Only a handful of practitioners in Canada have the training to administer this type of treatment, and one of them happens to be Tonume’s very own Kazuo Tateishi. This treatment has achieved results for patients suffering a wide variety of symptoms. Nonetheless, regardless of the condition or symptoms, Shonishin Therapy should only be administered after consulting with your child’s medical doctor.
