Osteopathic Manual Therapy

An Osteopathic Manual Practitioner can be your guide to living a more functional and pain-free life
Osteopathic Manual Therapy is a gentle and effective manual therapy that promotes overall health by supporting the body’s natural ability to heal and regulate itself. It focuses on realigning the body’s structure to improve function, and treats the root cause of issues rather than just symptoms. Osteopathic Manual Practitioners (OMPs) use hands-on techniques to improve motion, blood circulation, and nerve function.
What to Expect?
Your Visit
Your initial 45-minute session includes a comprehensive health review followed by hands-on treatment. Subsequent 30-minute visits are focused, efficient, and tailored to your needs using a variety of principle-based techniques.
Treatments are performed fully clothed, with gentle techniques applied in positions that are always adapted for your comfort.

After Your Treatment
You may feel deeply relaxed with improved mobility and reduced tension. Mild soreness can occur for 24–72 hours as your body integrates the treatment. Light movement, such as walking, is encouraged while more strenuous activity should be avoided.

Perks
The benefits of Osteopathic Manual Therapy
Relieves Pain
Osteopathic manipulations are known to produce especially quick results with numerous forms of chronic pain.
Lasting Impacts
Regular osteopathic treatments can keep your bones, muscles, and soft tissues in the right position and the right condition, helping to maintain strength and joint mobility for years to come.

Real Solutions
Your Osteopathic Manual Practitioner is trained to locate and treat the structural source of your discomfort or dysfunction, not just the symptom(s). The removal or decrease in pain becomes a byproduct when the body is guided into proper alignment and can heal itself due to unobstructed neural pathways and blood flow.
