Tonume No-Show/Late Cancellation Policy

At Tonume Integrated Health we aspire to provide you with the very best care and attention. We attempt to be available during the times our patients most desire. We understand that unanticipated events occur in everyone’s lives. Out of respect for both our practitioners and those patients who are needing treatment and are on our long waiting list, we ask that you do your very best to give us at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. In our commitment to provide an outstanding experience to all of our patients and out of consideration for our practitioners’ time, we have adopted the following policies:

Arrival at the Clinic

We recommend that you arrive for your appointment 10 - 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time in order to ensure a complete session. This allows you the time to fill out any appropriate forms, change clothing if necessary, and prepare for your treatment.  It will also help you slow down, have some water or tea and catch your breath from your busy day!

Arriving Late Policy

As you can imagine, late arrivals can set back our schedules significantly. As a courtesy to our patients, if you arrive late, your session will still be completed at the originally scheduled appointment time or you may be asked to reschedule.  You will still be responsible for the full session fee. Practitioners may choose to accommodate for the time change if they are able. If more than three visits are missed or tardy, advanced payment will be required.

Late Cancellation Policy

You may cancel or reschedule without charge prior to 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment. If you cancel or reschedule with less than the aforementioned notice or via voicemail/email after closing the business day preceding your appointment, you will be charged a:

a minimum of $50.00 of the total session fee per every late cancellation.

If more than three visits are cancelled without 24 hours notice, advanced payment will be required.

*If you have extended health benefits and you miss your appointment, we cannot bill your healthcare provider. We cannot bill insurance providers for a service we did not provide to you. You will be responsible for the no show/late cancellation fees.

No-Show Policy

We understand that sometimes life can get a little out of control and that unforeseen circumstances happen. Out of consideration and respect of our practitioners’ time, if a patient does not show up for a scheduled appointment and does not provide any type of advanced notice, the patient will be charged a no-show fee of:

  • a minimum of $50.00 of the total session fee per every no-show.

If more than three visits have been no-shows, full advanced payment will be required and/or you may be asked to seek treatment elsewhere.

*Please Note: As a courtesy, we offer email and text reminders to the patient. These reminders should be considered a “bonus” to keep you on track with your schedule and should not be relied upon as your sole method of knowing when your appointment is.

*If you have extended health benefits and you miss your appointment, we cannot bill your healthcare provider. We cannot bill insurance providers for a service we did not provide to you. You will be responsible for the no show/late cancellation fees.

Scents Policy

So many of us have allergies to synthetic scents and perfumes. To respect and accommodate the different needs of our patients, Tonume Integrated Health aspires to be a synthetic scent-free zone. We try to use only 100% natural essential oil products. Most essential oils are hypoallergenic and do not have the negative effects that synthetic scents do.  For this, we would like to ask that you do not wear perfume or cologne on the days when you are scheduled for treatments with us.

Cell Phone Policy

Many of our treatments revolve around tying to calm the nervous system. And with many questions surrounding the use of cell phones and their effects upon the body we ask that you please refrain from using your cell phone while at Tonume Integrated Health. If you have a hard time putting your phone down, we ask that you talk quietly and please put your ringer on silence mode.  Putting your phone down will help to maintain a relaxing and calm environment for all of our patients.

Loud Voices/Sounds make for a lousy treatment

Most of our patients agree that receiving their treatments in a calm, quiet clinical environment is the best way to get the most out of their session. Therefore we do our best to provide a quiet environment for all of our treatments that we provide.  We ask that you walk quietly through our hallways, and always speak with a soft voice when at the front desk, in the waiting area or talking to your phone as a courtesy to others trying to enjoy their treatments.
