Reianna Fortier, Registered Massage Therapist
Reianna has always believed that people should live a life doing what they love to do. In 2000 when a family member developed a systemic illness, it inspired her to pursue a career in health care. She saw how positive touch could improve a person's outlook on life and because of this she plans to continue devoting herself and her time to helping others.
Reianna graduated from VCMT with a keen interest in myofascial therapies, scar tissue work and trigger point release and is passionate about treating patients who suffer from chronic pain, systemic conditions, headaches and post-surgical dysfunctions. She continues to expand her knowledge of human anatomy by attending multiple cadaver labs, which made her appreciate the importance of treating the body holistically.
Her experience has given her the ability to accommodate the individual needs and concerns of patients, while promoting healing with techniques that consist of; neuromuscular therapy, scar tissue release, myofascial release, trigger point release, deep tissue treatments, joint mobilizations, and relaxation massage.
When she is not in the office you can find her travelling, petting other peoples dogs, giving back to the community by volunteering and educating people about the health benefits of massage, or surfing in Tofino, BC.
